Akhona Monakali

Akhona Monakali is a South African entrepreneur, business strategist and professional accountant. She is the founder and CEO of Monakali Academy and Nineteen20 Accountants and Financial Services.

 

Akhona is a name synonymous entrepreneurship excellence in South Africa and that is evidenced through her work over the years and how she develops leaders in her company. Nineteen20 Accountants and Financial Services is an accounting firm that caters to small businesses in South Africa and Monakali Academy is a tutoring company that tutors high school students and also have a team that tutors University undergraduate and postgraduate students.The Monakali Academy also partnered with non-profit organizations to provide mentoring services to rural schools in rural communities in South Africa.

 

She obtained her B.Com ( accounting ) degree from the University of Free State ( UFS ) in Bloemfontein, South Africa. She is a mentor to students entrepreneurs at the University of Johannesburg and this role allows her to guide and mentor young, upcoming entrepreneurs that need guidance in their businesses.

 

Akhona is a force to be reckoned with and continues to make waves in the entrepreneurial world on the African Continent. She has seen the power that entrepreneurship has to transform the lives of ordinary South Africans and hosts entrepreneurship events across South Africa.
